We turned the corner and saw this bull moose eating lily pads. We were downwind of him so we were able to get pretty close. He took off and all of us chased after him. Once he reached the shore and was out of sight, I told the kids that what just happened was a rare experience and that they were lucky to see it. At the next bend in the river we came across another moose. We chased this girl for a while and then she took off. After that, the kids expected to see a moose around every turn. — Dave Ries
