Campsite and Visitor Survey - 2001 The State of Outdoor Recreation in and around Lake Temagami |
|
CAMPSITE SURVEY Scope This pilot study is an attempt to identify which areas need further research and immediate intervention to halt irreversible environmental degradation. The field investigation covered approximately 348 backcountry campsites on the vast majority of water bodies in the Lake Temagami area. An attempt was made to cover every existing campsite. However, logistical and technical limitations prevented the occasional site from being included. |
