Drop in temperature renews freeze-up

With temperatures staying below freezing since Monday evening, freeze-up has renewed. And there is snow on the ground.

Most lakes are closed, or virtually closed. On Lake Temagami (always the last with lakes Wanapitei and Timiskaming), the Northeast, and Southwest arms, and Sharp Rock and Obabika inlets are closing.

Will everything close by New Year's Day?
