Slash fires 2007 - October 25

Slash fires near Longpoint Lake. The southern-most fire is between Longpoint Lake, Beauty Lake Road, Beauty Lake, and the East Montreal River.

These areas were logged in July 2006 and the logging companies are burning the slash left behind. Each area contains about 300 piles.

These was originally identified in error as wildfires.
