Lake Temagami still open With daytime highs since Christmas Day reaching 0 C, freeze-up on Lake Temagami has stalled. The same five open waters, revealed in this gap in the clouds, remain: South Arm southeast of Narrows Island, Hub from Cattle Island to Sand Point, Northwest Arm above Sand Point, Rabbitnose Island, and Devil's Bay. The Ottawa River and lakes Timiskaming and Wanapitei are also open.
