Almost With a drop in the winds the big four open areas have shrunk and are mostly covered in skim ice, which is not visible in this image. Devil's Bay still has open water. There was a patch of open water on the west side of Alexander Island (north of Cattle Island), according to John Kippen of Cayuga Island.
