Member of the family No, this moose did not just wander in. Buck and Gail Olivier of Lake Land Lodge on Lake Wanapitei run a wildlife rehabilitation centre where orphans are brought in and raised until they can return to the wild. Bear cubs and wild turkeys were also wandering freely on the island this summer. They will be all gone by winter.
