This is the time of year when that yellow line is laid down. It's pollen from the red pines. Maybe it's my imagination, but I can't remember ever seeing so much of it before. Here's what the inside of our dock looked like this afternoon with the Southwest wind. People tell me the fishing has been pretty good lately so it's obvious that the fish don't eat the pollen! |
