Scenic Lakes

1 Chee-skon Lake 

A small lake just inside the Wakimika Triangle old-growth stand and the location of the Spirit Rock, an ancient aboriginal sacred site. The area is sacred ground to the Temagami and Nipissing Ojibway. Chee-skon-abikong, its full Ojibway name, means "lake at the place of the large rock."
