Diamond Lake: Diamond has several excellent campsites, most of which are situated on the central islands. Pickerel and small mouth bass fishing are both good around the islands. *Note: From Diamond Lake, the canoeist may take either route No. 6 to Wakimika and Obabika Lake, or return to Lake Temagami over the portage at Sharp Rock Inlet. At Sharp Rock Inlet, portage (80 yards) to the channel and do not follow the road as the topographical map suggests. Another day's paddle will take you back to central Lake Temagami access point. |
