Hello All, I just came across the board - thank the gods of google. I think you will be able to help me. I did a 15 day trip in the Temagami area in the late 90s and I'm getting set to finally re-visit. I remember parts of my trip well, the "golden staircase" (is this right?) of waterfalls in the south channel of Lady Evelyn, Fatman and his cliffs and the 4km into Diamond after which I saw the most amazing rainbow of my life. ANYWAY - On my trip I also met an amazing dude named Les who told our group about a neat spot. There was a short hike to a secluded lake with cliffs on the opposite shore. In front of the cliffs one huge piece of rock sticks out like a finger. There was also old growth forest on the hike. Can anyone help me find this spot again? Thanks in advance, |
