Thought people might like to take a look at this, which I think is a very good (& obviously timely) letter:
http://www.earthroots.org/temagami-email-action?ut m_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign= take_action_for_temagamis_old_growth_forests_on_gi ving_tuesday&utm_term=2017-11-28
If that link doesn't work just go to earthroots.org.
The deadline is December 7th 2017.
If you have time send your own email to the Minister (McGarry) with a cc to the Premier (or vice-versa, but it's important that the Premier gets at least a copy, (and they DO keep score..!)

So today is the deadline to use the above link to register your opinion about resource management priorities in the Temagami Region. If anybody is listening I would urge them to make their views known on this issue.
Everyone on this forum "uses" Temagami. That means you are an important stakeholder in this process.
Hopefully we are not all too "busy" (or cynical) to bother defending something we all clearly love.

Please consider mailing this and other forestry comments to the MNRF area foresters for the Temagami and Sudbury districts.

The Friends of Temagami also submitted a comment on the 2019-2029 TMU LTMD on Dec. 7, 2017.
Sudbury area is coming up early 2018... the proposed Turner Road through the Solace Wildlands is particularly irksome.
