Just wondered how the access road is. Will be coming up in Aug. Just wondered how often they are grading the road. Is there a number that I can call to find out. Please let me know. Thank you. |

You can call the Municipality (Public Works) 705-569-3421. The road this year has not been too bad considering the rain. The road was graded last week and is holding up fine. I think the crappy summer, price of gas, and the low value of the U.S buck has kept the traffic to a moderate level this season. The less the better. |

The access road is a high-traffic, all-season road used by seasonal and permanent residents on Lake Temagami and maintained by the municipality. If you are concerned that it is a former logging road that could be washed out and unusable, don't be. It is always open. |

I know that it is always open but i have also been down that road when the washboard is so bad that it has shaken things apart on our van and our boat. So i was just wondering when the last time it was grated. |

The road is graded weekly by Town staff. This year it has been smoother than most as traffic has been lower.
