My wife and I stayed at Ranger point (Obabika) this past weekend. A great camp site with wonderful views up and down the lake. We met Alex Mathias and his family. Ed I wanted to thank you for the new thunderbox at the small site on Ranger Point - a true work of art complete with reflector for night time use - a neat touch! Blitz |

blitz_boy It used to look like this? http://ottertooth.net/Temagami/News/05/crapper.htm The prototype did not stand up to the snow load and the vandalism. The journal is gone too.It was funny to read. Back to the drawing board |

Kim - I remember that article now but I did not realize that was the same site. The insscription on the "edifice" said that it was installed this past May. Perhaps I misread it. No journal as you say. I certainly recommend that site. It is one of the best I have stayed at. Blitz |

blitz_boy A few of us did a clean up of Ranger Point in the spring. Ed re installed the stripped down version of the original that weekend of the clean up.We carried out what was left of the original prototype. I wrote the "instructions for use" on the Tbox. Ed installed 14 Tboxes while he was up there. He is a good fella |

Not too bad a job, if you are installing new ones. |
