I thought I saw a post on the dam, that it was damaged and that is why the water level is so low. Was the post removed? Has anybody contacted Hydro One about the damage?

Hydro one monitors that dam at least once per week, sometimes more. I am sure they are aware of any damage, if there is any at all. But, this is generally the time of year that they lower the water level in Red Cedar Lake about 12 feet. They do it every year and then put it back to summer levels in May. This may answer your question.
