Does anyone remember Mr. Wilson walking into your classroom at Temagami Public School and reciting "Pierre of Temagami"?
Was it by Henry Drummond? Cannot find it anywhere on the net.
If you have it, can you share it.
Thanks/Merci

I just called my Dad at the cottage and he confirms that we have a copy of it. I will post it for you in the next couple of weeks.

I too am looking a copy of "Pierre of Temagami". First heard it at the Chalk River Public School in the late 1950's. Have not been able to find a copy or even the name of the poet. IF you have a copy, I would appreciate getting a copy at:
"fdlute@aei.ca".

Thanks,

RedBaron

Sure would be a great Christmas present if someone out could post a poem of Mr. Wilson's Temagami Pierre...!

Brian ~ are you aware that it exists as you say it is rare ~~~~~~~~~?

redbaron ~ did you ever get a copy?

With Christmas Eve tomorrow, Graywulf and Gudwulf from NC Ohio send Christmas greetings to all fellow paddlers we pass on the waters... Blessings

Wow, you finally found it!! Now I see what all the hype was about.... (all sarcasm aside, it's interesting!) Wonder what the backstory to that poem is.... sounds like a sketch from real life, like someone the author met- probably a guide on a fishing trip??
