Curious if the high water levels are still maintaining themselves in Temagami, and how high they actually are. We were at our cabin on the N. branch of the Magnetawan last week and the river was higher than I've EVER seen it (in 40+ years!- admittedly I'm rarely there in the early spring as the road is impassable). I would say 4-5 feet higher than normal for this time of year... |

It is still high in the Temagami rainforest of 2014. |

It was record high on upper Petawawa river too last week...north of Big Trout Lake,Algonquin Park. It has since come down a bit but still very high. On Sept 27 the river (normally small in that zone) was running higher ...far higher than spring run off. |
