thanks for the photos "bush pilot"...is this considered early for ice in bays .... below zero temps, snow on the ground,...is winter is here already? maybe another good old fashioned winter coming... yikes... |

well was up to the cottage on the weekend ice thickness from town to bell island ranges from 5 to 7 inches, solid ice very little snow on ice |

gasman.....I would imagine travel up and down the northeast arm is not far off now....I was up a week ago and Im guessing the snowmachine tracks leaving town must have been yours....play safe....merry Christmas to all....cheers |

yes the tracks were mine keeping the cold in the ice will be head back up in 2 weeks for Christmas and new years merry Christmas and happy new year to you as well peterme |

Due to rain coming on the heels of many lakes just freezing, there is no certainty to the ice conditions. Be careful. |

We made it to the cottage yesterday. Checked the ice in bay in front of cottage there's a good foot of hard ice. |
