Any guesses on when the ice will be off the water, and when the canoes will be on the water... May long weekend????????

I am going to the Temagami area on May 10th. Specifically I am going to Cassels Lake. I fully expect to see no ice.

Ice is completely off of Inlet Bay as of last night. Portage Bay will be gone by tomorrow..

Exactly Bob.. just because it's gone in the 32 foot depth of inlet bay certainly doesn't mean the main lake is free of ice.
