Can anyone recommend how one might go about acquiring a permit for LEV before the Finlayson Park Office opens (which is May 20/16)? Thanks in advance. |

Call Finlayson and ask.
The office is open all year,but not fully staffed. |

They don't appear to be answering the phone or returning voice messages. Perhaps Mowat Cottages.. Tx. |

I am sorry I didn't get back to you on this last week.
You can reach Finlayson at 705-569-3205 and speak with either Kevin, the Park Superintendent or Kelly, the Assistant Superintendent, during regular business hours and arrange for permits.
The backcountry parks are not open until May 11th this year but the Finlayson office is staffed year round, Monday to Friday in the off season. |

No worries. I connected with Sylvie at FPP. They are not yet staffed Saturdays, which is when I am going through and we have arranged to pre-purchase the permits and pick them up in a designated spot. |
