My partner and I would like to have our marriage ceremony performed at our cottage next summer. Is there someone on the lake who performs ceremonies on site? This person could either be part of a church or a aboriginal spiritual person. We would prefer an aboriginal spiritual person. Thanks.

Have you talked to Alex Mathias? Try him at 705-498-2818.

Thanks, I will try that. My partner is also interested in finding a minister from a church who will perform ceremonies on site.

Ann

My wife Jenn and I got Married at our cottage on Temiskaming. the Cottage is located 2 bays south of the Narrows, so about a 45 min drive from New Liskeard. we had a hard time trying to get someone to come down for our wedding as well. Unfortunately our minister has moved out of the area. By the way it is Mike Shute, sorry.

Good luck with the wedding and Congrats

Check with the United Church - They are quite flexable about locations.

Opps. I was correcting the spelling for the Minister - Not saying that he moved - I need to watch for clarity there!
