I have attached an uploadable file for use with any Garmin GPS unit. It contains all of the more frequently travelled boating routes in Lake Temagami together with waypoints pinpointing each of the buoys (navagational aids) on the Lake. Although I am confident that most of the information is correct, I urge you to use at your own risk and verify indepedently! }} The raw data file can be used in Garmin's MapSource software to upload to your GPS device. You might be interested to know that Garmin has just come out with an Ontario lakes product that has detailed shoreline and lake depths for Lake Temagami. (Note: the file has a .gdb extension - make sure you save the file with this extension in order for it to be useable) (Message edited by gsesmart on July 26, 2009) (Message edited by gsesmart on July 26, 2009) (Message edited by gsesmart on July 26, 2009) |

Given the number of road accidents attributed to GPSs, I shudder to think of all the shoals that will be hit this summer. Invest in prop repair shops! |
