Just wondering if they are out yet.. Going into Trethewy on the 14th of May.. Any guess on what they will be like for that week?? |

a few skeeters about...and blacflies made an appearance yesterday just west of lake temagami. not bad though. |

Wate levels are low... bad for canoe tripping... but it means fewer bugs are likely... |

Significant number of blackflies at the mine landing this morning. Looks like everything is set forward by 3 weeks or so......so your Tretheway trip might be the equivalant of the first week of June ......plan for the bugs  |

Bugs seem to be early this year, in keeping with the early ice-out. While not Temagami, I was at Bracebridge/Haliburton lattitude last weekend and the blackflies were just starting to bite. |
