I often read where someone is refering to the Temagami Access Road - can anyone tell me where this road is in relation to the town or the provincial park?- I appreciate any response - thank you- Joe |

The Temagami Access Road goes west from Highway 11 about 3 or 4 miles south of the town of Temagami. It runs parallel to the NE Arm of the lake and ends at the public landing in what is commonly called "the Hub," at the center of the lake.

Thanks dan - I noticed that road as I passed it on Highway 11 and wondered about it - one other question - it there a boat launch there and parking - thanks again |

Yes to both questions.
There is a municipal parking lot with boat launch at the very end of the road, which tends to be quite busy during the summer season. To the best of my knowledge, the use of the facilities there is still free.
About a mile before the end of the road, there is a right turn to Boat Line Bay Marine, where they have "supervised" car parking and a boat launch for a fee.
