Brian this is probably for you. In Keewaydin Way there is a photograph of a brochure for Deewaydin Camps, I believe, stating A.S. Gregg Clarke, Asheville, NC. What was Clarke's connection to Asheville?

Clarke taught at the Asheville School about the time Keewaydin moved from Maine to Temagami in 1902. He also met his second wife there. This is discussed on page 111.

Many students during that period were also campers at Keewaydin. I think the school plaque (it is at least a hundred years old) is hanging in the lodge.
