some friends and i are planning a 3 day canoe trip in and around the south arm of lake temagami and cross lake for april 22-24.
does anyone know the ice conditions on these lakes, do you think it will be gone for our trip? |

You might be a bit early. I suggest you go to the previous thread on ice conditions in the area lakes and look at some of the pictures that Bush Pilot has posted.
Maybe he has some updated comments that he could make. |

The ice will not be out by then. May is usually the earliest time to get on the water. |

People were still driving their vehicles from Bear
Island earlier this week.
I'd reschedule your canoe trip friend. Give it another 3-4 weeks. |
