paddling is hard slog in January.

Has any done any self directed paddling trips south of the boarder? i would like to plan a single canoe, two person, southern trip for Jan/Feb for some future year and would be interested to read trip reports from people who also love Temagami.

Hi Moyra,
Check out:

http://www.paddles.com/users/green/

We have been a couple times to Utah and are tentatively planning a family trip on the Green. The river is canoeable in Jan/Feb. However you will have to arrange your own shuttle.
