Hey folks - what ever happened to this business?? I heard the owner is just a ... and the town boycotted her business. Is this true? |

Rumours are just that...this isn't the place to spread them. Missed having a liquor licence in time for the season to start and down hill from there would be the easiest description.
You can buy the place and give it another whirl for $329 I believe it is. Bank will probably take less if U go there direct...

ivoryjones, just read your last post about censorship etc. I sure hope you were not refering to my post where the name"Jack" somehow was rejected at first. I am sure it was just an anomaly. I have been a member of the forum for at least 4 years now but my curent registration doesnt reflect this due to reformatting etc.
I have to admit that my views on most topics have changed dramitcaly over this span but then I have to make a firm statement concerning the forum. Never and I mean never,have I ever read a post that was offensive to me and I have to believe, to anyone. Every post I have ever read was written with the highest integrity with no intention of offending anyone. I find at times a lot of misinformation and unrealistic views but it is always presented in a manner that should be acceptable to anyone. That is what the forum is all about. One of the few in existence that upholds these standards. In this sense it is a real tribute to Brian and his moderators. If you find the forum to be distastful and boring, why not hit the bloggers etc. for readable and informative information. This is where most of the perverts of the world have found a home.[by no means do I want to insinuate you fall within that category].
In closing I would like to mention that there is nothing in this world that deals directly with what is called "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" that does not need some type of regulation. I am sure the founders of this country had no intention of letting it develop into what it now is. It is the most abused statute of our Constitution. Keep this in mind the next time you wish to make a statement as you have. Then again, you have the right to do so!
