Hello All Heading up with the wife July 9/12 to do some Walleye fishing. It will be my first time on Red Cedar, I usually fish the Marten River. Any tips on where to start for the eyes would be much appreciated. Not looking for exact co-ordinates, just a starting point or two. Thanks in advance. Stan |

Hi Stan, Just got home from our yearly trip, we had to work for them this year. We usually troll starting in Loon Bay and then head through the narrows. I know a lot of folks were getting them at sundown in the second narrows. Our best luck however was Jigging in the weeds for them, anywhere from 6-12fow. Had some realy nice looking fish come out of Campten Bay as well as the north end of the lake as well. Let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers, |
