what a great summer this year in temagami, i did notice one thing that how boaters forgot about the no wake within 100 ft of shore, we live in the inlet narrows to inlet bay [temagami marine]and 80% of the boaters made wakes some larger ones, did notice that the boaters were young and old, male and female, marked channel or not, ocean and fisheries and national boat course tells boaters no wake within 100 ft of shoreline or the boater is responsible for their damages, its been a real eye opener this year |

Hey there... Can certainly understand your concerns with wake size. We try and keep our speed low when in your area - out of safety and respect for owners. Just an FYI before you post signs ....no speed restrictions exist if in a buoyed channel...see link. http://www.waterwaysontario.com/safe-boating/speed -restrictions/ |

thanks bowwowrider, nice to see that some people have respect for others, we are loosing some shoreline from the wakes because channel is narrow, wish other boaters would consider that and also my boat and docks |

You would think it would be pretty obvious in there Ken.. to slow down when the channel isn't even 40 feet wide, but the main bay is just as bad. I HAD to put my dock out past the tail of my airplane, as boaters were actually driving right under the tailcone at full speed. |

i think some boaters put their brains under there feet instead of using it as common sense, some days i watch them and wonder what are they thinking, i seen 3 boats last weekend wide open wakes galore and i was standing on the dock, boat just a bouncing and waves against the dock and shore, what gives |
