Does anyone know of any books or anywhere there is information on the history of Lady Evelyn Lake?

I have never seen one. What I know I picked up in scattered pieces from oldtimers and the odd item in archives. This lack of info gathered in one place is true of most of Temagami, which is why I am working on a history — one that will be years in the making. (I am not ignoring the monumental The Temagami Experience by Hodgins and Benidickson. It is a more chronological history of the whole area rather than being specific to lakes within the area.)
Over time I will be adding history pieces to the Temagami web pages. Right now, the only Lady Evelyn specific story is on the Lady Evelyn liftover. |
