Could some kind soul or souls please keep us posted as to ice conditions in the area heading into Christmas. We are hoping to make it to our place on Norris Lake for Christmas (depending on conditions). Thanks All!

ice on northeast arm about 6 inches some slush been there for Christmas and back in for the new year

no still open if you want to take a dip off the dock, lol, good trail from town to Dougs trees in place and the a trail from Dougs to my neighbor Marvins

Take care . . . ice can remain dangerously thin even in sub-zero (Fahrenheit) temperatures in narrow channels or if covered by deep snow.

snowmobile club now has trail marked from town to park and through park and across inlet bay lots of snow in bush great for riding already have done some and there have been sleds running across the ice in some spots, hope this info helps you Peterme

Gasman thanks a ton for this info, heading up to the Village in a few weeks maybe i can travel the N E arm to the hub by then...hoping so...wheres home for you Gasman?...Im in southern On. much rather be in Northern On..thats for sure..cheers

thanks for posting ice info. we have cottage on NE arm and always wonder what the ice conditions are we are hoping to travel the arm in next couple weeks. we will continue to follow your posts - thanks again

The last bit of open water in Ferguson Bay has frozen over, it's always the last bit to freeze.

Hey peterme, lots of ice on lake this weekend ranges from 6 to 12 inches of good ice did have water on top of ice but did drain away and got snow sunday evening creating alitle slush but this week will be cold again, did catch some fish and had a great weekend but again this weekend coming

i think doug is thinking of driving his this week Wayne but i will stay with the sled instead lol channel still open in front of our dock you can come for a dip lol water temp last weekend was 31 to 32 degrees f
