Hi all I'm a new poster o this forum but long time reader... I'm finnaly able to plan a paddling trip out to temagami and was woundering if anybody could tell me the conditions of wilson lake road thats runs of hwy 11. Is there any chance it's car accessible? |

I haven't been on Wilson Lake Road this year, but have driven it twice from the north end (near Wilson Lake) to the south end where it rejoins Hwy 11 (Tonomo Lake Rd). It is a winding, paved, typical cottage road, safe to drive on with any vehicle.
I was scouting a launching and parking area near Brophy or Waha Lake.
Do watch your speed as cottagers and their families walk the road. - no shoulders
