Does anybody know what Spray Creek is like right now for Big Spring Lake to Mendelssohn Lake? And are there any decent camp spots on Mendelssohn Lake? |

If you mean the water level on Spray, it is fine. |

It was a very nice lake to paddle. Spray Creek has 8 lift overs over beaver dams. |

Went down Spray Creek to the Montreal one week ago. Eight beaver dams sounds about right plus the one 200 meter portage. There were also about 4-5 large log snags that had to be lifted around. I think that the spring flood let loose some stuff that hadn't been flushed down the creek in the recent dry years. The whole creek took us about 4.5 hours; a bit longer than usual. |
