We camped at Solace Lake in late July and stopped for lunch on Regan Lake the next day, at both these locations we could hear distant logging equipment. We accessed from the Gamble Lake Road so I can't say for sure but watch out for logging trucks etc. |

Thanks Brian. From another post I gather the water level is currently high enough on South Lady Evelyn. We are going to do the route of Gervais access Scarecrow, South Lady Evelyn, Florence Benner to Paul starting this weekend. Can we do it using our Kevlar canoe or is an ABS needed? Thx! |

Distant machine noise could be heard both from Selkirk and Paul lakes, but bridge at Gervais landing is gated and locked and we did not see any traces of recent logging in the vicinity. Obviously there is some other logging access in the area. |

Me, I would take Kevlar everywhere. |
