Can somebody please direct me to the best access point on Cassels Lake? I know where the boat livery is, at the extreme West end of the lake, but there must be another access point further up the lake (I'm assuming) Is there a public access at the end of the road? Thanks Mike |

There is access at the south-most end of the lake from Rabbit Lake Road. |

The only other access for the lake is down Lowell Lake Rd. This comes to the narrows between Cassels and Rabbit. |

The one you're looking for is the Cassels Lake Access Point. From the highway, turn east on O'Connor Drive (at the Train Station). Take your first left (Stevens Rd). This takes you to the Boat Livery you mention. Just past the Boat Livery, Stevens Rd becomes Fox Run. Travel approx. 4 km on Fox Run to the access point. There is a large parking lot and a dock there. You should see some cars parked there and a snowmobile trail headed off onto the lake. |

Heading for BB micmac? Probably a good trail to it from ice fishing sledders. |

Call Gramps and find out. Would suspect it is considering he has ice bungaloos in there.. |

I don't think it's ploughed at all. Usually see trucks parked right at the highway. |
