Hi all, I'm looking for access information about roosavelt rd... How are the conditions in the winter(plowed?), srping and summer? I have a trip planned that would require use of this road... Hopefully someone could help? |

Should be no problem in the spring and summer. Pretty sure its not plowed in the winter, it never was in the past. |

I drove the whole road in july 2013
if you take the entrance just past temagami north it is passable via car up until around friday lake. anything past that you would want a truck or suv with higher ground clearance and could possibly need 4x4 if the roads are wet.

The road is pillowed to the railway tracks, that it summer it's fine, if you plan to go late winter you will have problems, there is so much snow it's hard to go anywhere. I plan on fishing there next week or so, I'll keep you posted. |
