Hello all, I am just planning our annual spring fishing trip and i was looking at the Far western arm of Lady Evelyn as our spot. We plan on heading as far south down this arm as we can get for a 5 day trip. My issue right now is (more questions to come)....will the ice be out and if so, will it have been out long enough to make the May 31 weekend a decent walleye fishing trip? I looked at the ice out dates from the previous thread and although they are normally around May 5 or so...i have to say i am still worried given how cold this year has been? Does anyone know the area i am speaking of and can offer their views as to whether the ice will for sure be out at this time? THanks in advance for any help. Cheers, |

Drilling on the big lake last week... some spots the auger handles where hitting the ice just at break through.. equals 32" + of ice. Your guess is as good as mine.. |
