Just tried to kayak up pork rapids on the Montreal River this weekend.. The current was very strong and was not able to get close to the rapids. What time of year does the water slow down enough to make the paddle. Thanks

That is a function of the weather. Spring runoff this year is massive. But for the Montreal River, water levels are also affected by the dams and Ontario Power's needs. |
