Any news for the Obabika River Bridge ? Is the bridge still closed ? Second question : Is it possible to start from Twinkle Lake, through Yorston Lake, Pilgrim Triangle and down the Sturgeon to Lower Goose Falls in 3 days and two nights or is this wishful thinking ? I know the Sturgeon in that area but I've never been to Twinkle and Yorston, distance seems doable but it depends on the portages to get to the Sturgeon. |

I think someone on the forum said recently that the Witches Crossover portages had been re-cleared- if that is true it would certainly help make it doable... it's a long way though. |

I've been to Witches crossover last August and remember no serious issues there, except for Pilgrim creek crossing that would be difficult in high water, but there's a way around according to the map. I'd say that Twinkle to Yorston, then to Pilgrim triangle, then to Lower Goose are 3 relaxed days, but you have to allocate for driving time. Last 20km to Twinkle access (after the Obabika bridge) took me an hour in AWD - it's very rocky. |

Obabika river bridge is still use at own risk. Passed over it on the weekend someone added onto the bridge to cover a wash out at one end of the bridge....scary but doable |
