Hello everyone I just wanted to let you all know of a great new book out called:
Winter on Diamond - An Encounter with theTemagmi Wilderness by Soren Bondrup-Nielsen
This is a great book for anyone who loves winter camping or stories about the Temagami Area.
Mr. Bondrup-Nielsen has done a wonderful job of combining his past and present memories and experences of his time on Diamond lake and his time at Eskakwa camp.
We have copies at the store or you can ask for it at your local independent book store.

I am currently reading it and it is really hard to put down!

Sure if they have it in stock, most independent book stores will supply services such as special orders and are usually willing to order in such books for you as long as they are able to contact the publisher and can setup a account with them.
If you want to order the book at your local bookstore bring them the ISBN# and name the of the book. You can also just give them the web address above since it is the publishers homepage and they can order directly from the site.

Hap and Soren will be up North doing a book signing and slide show presentation in North Bay on Feb 4 and in New Liskeard on Feb 5.

Paul, would you mind if I posted the book-signing dates over at CCR?
Also, Gulliver's website has the date as Friday, February 4....Chat Noir's has their date as Saturday, February 4.....Am I correct in assuming that the schedule is:
Gulliver's Friday, February 4
Chat Noir Saturday, February 5

Thanks to everyone who came out to the book signing last week! If you ever get the chance to see one of Hap and Soren's presentations don't miss out. Go! The stories and pictures are amazing.
It a little more like a reunion as some old friends showed up as well as the 2 brothers(Jack & Jim Murphy)who orginally built the Cabin Hap and Soren stayed in 25 years ago.
I hope to have some pictures up on our website next week sometime. www.chatnoirbooks.com
