My group is 7 or 10. Beginner to advanced experience. We are trying to plan a 3 day trip. Leaving early AM day 1 and finishing early afternoon day 3. We are starting in Cassels Lake. The plan is to go through Blueberry to Lorrain day 1. Then up Lorraine through to the top of Obashkong day 2. Then back to base camp Cassels day 3. Does anyone know if this is feasable? How are the portages? We obviously need to find a trip map.

The Friends of Temagami Adventure Planning Map:http://www.ottertooth.com/Temagami/News/12/FOTmap. htm which covers the entire Temagami area is sold out, but you may be able to find one to look at. Failing that you could buy the Map that Ontario Parks still offers for sale through Finlayson PP in Temagami. There are several other maps out there that also cover the Temagami area canoe routes.Try google for these. The MNR topo maps do not usually have route info on them. |
