Thinking about kayaking from Mowat Landing to Temagami by kayak next spring. Has anyone done it? Seems there are only 2 portages, the dam near Mowat landing and Sharp Rock Inlet. 3 days ? |

Depending on water levels, there may be a liftover or a line between Diamond and Lady Evelyn. Three days should do it. |

If you do the trip in the other direction you could probably run the liftover in a kayak, especially in the spring. |

In 2014 it flowed from Diamond to Evelyn and was apparently no issue to run with loaded canoes. |

Because of the prevailling winds on Lady E, would it be better to I travel from Mowat landing south to Temagami or vice-versa? |

You just can't predict a thing like that, at least until maybe the day before. |
