Hey everyone, we are planning on doing a small trip this may long weekend. Just wondering if the hatch has happened yet, and what you are predicting for the long weekend on a scale of 1-10. (10 being unbearable, 1 none to be seen) Thanks |

Here's something to get yer in the right mood for those spring trips. Classic old song from the 40's, animated by the NFB (Chris Hinton) in the early 90's... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjLBXb1kgMo |

The guys were greeted by black flies when they arrived on Diamond Lake on Fri. May 8th. But then it got cooler, so dozy flies. Not sure of conditions now, but please post, we are going back up May 21st. |

We spent the weekend in the Lady Evelyn River, and Dees Lake. A few black flies, but nothing serious; didn't use any repellent, and only a couple bites. |
