I'm thinking of a short September trip starting and ending at Gamble lake and going to Florence and Pinetorch area. How's the current on NLER for upstream paddling from SLER junction to Gamble? I do it solo, so less than average manpower. Also, is there any issues with road access on Liskeard rd? Thanks, Sergey |

For conditions from Gamble and south go here. http://www.ottertooth.com/Temagami/News/newsbriefs -163.htm#ju21 Unless there is a lot of rain in September, travelling upstream on NLER should be OK. Travel upstream on the SLER to Florence can be difficult in the spring. |

Thanks, Ed! These are good news - on clearing by park crews. Considering numerous fallen trees reports I myself is planning conservatively and will keep my handsaw within reach. |
