We are planning on headaing back to the Chinaguchi/Wolfe Lake area in mid-August...we have never canoed the area in summer only fall. What can we expect for traffic and competition for sites?

Serious competition on Wolf Lake on weekends or near the long weekend.

with the crowds you would be expecting at the time, I would seriously consider doing the Donald lake loop from Sportsman Lodge up and around(counter clock wise) or From Rolly Jonas Lodge either way... http://ottertooth.com/Temagami/Sites/chini8.htm went last July saw very few people.... anyway it was a great trip last year.... eh? |

Knew it would be too good to be true thinking it could be like in the fall. Thanks for map Brian. Just may have to take Campheiden's advice and go somewhere less popular. Any posts are still welcomed😃 |
