Since we have a low-water summer, I'm wondering what people's thoughts are on the Muskego River... too low to travel. Thinking of doing the South Muskego route.

I was looking at doing this area as well this Sept. Looking for general info on the area. Do you need permits to camp in the Sugar Lake Conservation Reserve? Recommended Campsites? Conditions of campsites/portages? Starting at Anna Nippising to Muskego R-Lady Evelyn - Sugar -Sirdevon- Turner- Eagle/Little Eagle- Whitewater to put in. Any info is appreciated.

I would stay away from the Muskego River due to the water levels, but the rest of South Muskego should be paddle-able.

You do not need permits for conservation reserves. }

Thanks, Brian. I was afraid of that.
