Anybody ever fish any of the attached lakes around Donald by short portages such as Stanley Lake , Kettyle Lake, Edna Lake, Karl Lake, Gold, Rice, Potvin, Colin Scott??? others??? thanks |

In 1982 I did a water sample contract for MOE, of the 250 lakes I believe Donald was the clearest most acidic lake we tested. Interesting to see if anything lives in it 36 years later. |

Edna, Colin Scott and Potvin are fish sanctuaries and are closed all year. Check out the MNR's Fish On-Line site for info on species of fish for each one of the lakes. Not always 100% accurate but gives you a general idea of what's in there. |

We threw a line in gold passing through and didn't catch anything, not that we tried that hard. Colin Scott looked like a dead lake to me, we could see bottom at 40'. We did fish McCarthy Bay and pulled out wormy bass. |
