Just noticed there is no campsite indicated for Lewbert Lake on the Ottertooth "Misabi Range" map! Of course there IS one at the S end of the lake just N of the portage from Beaver. And, it's an excellent campsite. |

The Lewbert campsite is shown on the Upper Yorston Interactive Map. I think the Misabi Range map is a much older map and it may not have been updated.

Ed is correct. That map, as the date indicates, pre-dates the Upper Yorston and will be replaced. |

Pity if Misabi map is destined to a dust bin - it has a vintage look of a real thing, you know: predating the iphone. |

You mean you can use your iphone back there? Tell me your secret? I want texts and Facebook juicing up my solitude. |

I used iphone as a metaphor for the times coming and the times long past. But one can text and post on the Facebook via Inreach if it pleasures her. |
