Hello all! Here's another short story about our spring trip to Wolf Lake, Temagami, Ontario last spring! It's part trip report, part reflection on why we need to escape the city for the woods. Enjoy! "Escape. That’s what it comes down to really. I go out to the woods to escape. To exchange the hustle and bustle of the city and all the pressure that I put on myself here for the quiet of the woods and the lonesomeness of just the wild animals and me." So genuine. What I enjoy most is looking at familiar places from very different prospective. On the dull note: it's Silvester lake, with "i". There's Sylvester with "y" somewhere else in Temagami. Hope you are planning more trips there coming summer - and writing more of your reports. |
